Wake Forest Home & Garden Show Aug. 24-25

The Wake Forest Renaissance Centre, 405 S. Brooks St., will host the fourth annual Wake Forest Home & Garden Show on Saturday, Aug. 24, from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. and Sunday, Aug. 25, from noon-4 p.m. Presented by Mitchell Heating & Cooling, the free two-day event will feature over 50 local experts showcasing the latest in home improvement products, services and features.

“For anyone planning a home improvement or yard enhancement project, our home and garden show will offer a convenient look at all that’s available in our area,” said Renaissance Centre Specialist Debra Horton.

As a bonus, this year’s Home & Garden Show will again include a Shopping Marketplace featuring local art, handmade decor and various home products available for purchase. Sponsored by Southern Suds & Gifts, the marketplace will include everything from handmade items and custom wreaths to popular kitchen, cleaning and storage products.

In addition to visiting with local home and garden experts, attendees will have the chance to view live grilling demonstrations, attend free seminars and enter several prize drawings. This year’s grand prize is a Traeger Pro 575 Series Grill and accessories package valued at over $1,000, courtesy of B&W Hardware.

Among this year’s seminar topics will be "HVAC Technology Advancements: Is the Home Owner Keeping Up?" by Mitchell Heating & Cooling; "Ace Your Next Home Inspection" by Nest Egg Home Inspections; "Wake Forest Real Estate Stats" by Pate Realty Group at Keller Williams Preferred; "How to Organize Your Closet Like A Pro" by Penny Oaks Professional Home Organizing; "Home Safety & Industry Myths" by CPI Security; and "Tips & Tricks for Keeping your House Immaculate" by Raleigh Cleaning Company.
