Former undercover FBI operative Tamer Elnoury to speak at Renaissance Centre September 11, first responders invited to free noon presentation

Former undercover FBI operative Tamer Elnoury is known for infiltrating and dismantling a terror cell in North America. In fact, there have only been a handful of people in US history that have conducted counter-terrorism work in this capacity or at this level, and no one has ever infiltrated Al Qaeda as deeply as Tamer has.

Elnoury will discuss his New York Times bestselling book, “American Radical: Inside the World of an Undercover Muslim FBI Agent,” at the Wake Forest Renaissance Centre, 405 S. Brooks St., on Thursday, Sept. 11, at noon and 7:30 p.m. The noon session is free and open to first responders only. Seating is on a first come, first served basis.

Elnoury’s 7:30 p.m. presentation is open to everyone. Tickets are $20 each and go on sale to the public Tuesday, Aug. 26, at 10 a.m. Tickets can be purchased online at www.wakeforestrencen.org, in person at the RC Box Office, or by calling 919-435-9458. Patrons of the Centre can purchase their tickets beginning Tuesday, Aug. 19, while Friends of the Centre can purchase theirs on Wednesday, Aug. 20.
