Still time to register for Sunday’s Memory Café Holiday Show

The Wake Forest Renaissance Centre for the Arts is hosting a special Memory Café Holiday Show this Sunday, Dec. 2, from 2-4 p.m.

This special holiday event offers an opportunity for persons diagnosed with early stage memory loss, their caregivers and family to engage with peers in a holiday music sing-a-long in a relaxed, unstructured environment. Sponsored by the generous donations from the Family of Irma M. Adams and Carillon of Wake Forest, the café promotes social engagement and support through interaction with others experiencing similar lifestyle changes.

Doors will open at 2 p.m. The event will get underway with an offering of holiday treats for attendees to enjoy. Special entertainment will then be provided by Vocals with Roseann, The Wake Forest Community Youth Choirs and the Raleigh Boys Choir.

This event is free, but registration is required as seating is limited. To pre-register, visit www.wakeforestnc.gov/dementia-awareness-education-series.aspx.
