Each program in the virtual “Neck of the Woods” performance series will be different and consist of one or more performing acts, including singers, dancers, actors, musicians and spoken word artists. Free and available on the Renaissance Centre Facebook and YouTube pages, the March 15 concert will feature Don McNeill a Mark Twain Scholar/Performer.

Donald McNeill is a Mark Twain scholar/performer. He has appeared more than 100 times in venues that include conventions, universities, corporate and civic events. Don appears as the great writer both in appearance and speaking style. In 2014 Don won the N.C. Humorous Speech contest with a Mark Twain inspired speech. He was born in Twain’s Missouri and grew up with a love of America’s greatest writer and humorous speaker. He is looking forward to performing for the Renaissance Center in Wake Forest, N.C.
