Storyteller Donna Washington

Fri, Oct 21 - 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm

The Wake Forest Renaissance Centre will present storyteller Donna Washington in a free performance Friday, Oct. 21, at 6:30 p.m. at the Alston-Massenburg Center, 416 N. Taylor St.

Often described as a "walking Disney movie" and "better than television," Donna Washington is an internationally known, multiple award-winning storyteller, spoken word recording artist, and author. A highly animated performer, she has been entertaining, educating, and inspiring audiences with her vocal pyrotechnics, elastic face, and deep characterizations that bring folklore, literary tales, and personal narratives to life for over 30 years.

This production is part of the Wake Forest Renaissance Centre’s "Arts For All" free community performance series, which is supported by United Arts Council of Raleigh and Wake County.
