Firebox Theatre hosting auditions for “The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe”
Firebox Theatre is searching for local talent to take the stage at its upcoming production of “The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.” Adapted from C.S. Lewis’ portal fantasy novel, the show offers a variety of roles for actors and actresses between the ages of 12 and 65.
Auditions are scheduled for Sunday, July 27, from 5-9 p.m. at the Carolina Theatre Company, 217 S. White St. for the roles of Aslan, Fenris Ulf, White Stag, Edmund, Susan, and more. To learn more about the casting for these roles, visit www.fireboxtheatre.com/auditions.
A callback session has been scheduled for Tuesday, July 29, at a time to be announced.
All actors auditioning in-person must sign up for an audition appointment at www.fireboxtheatre.com/auditions. Anyone planning to audition should wear clothes fit for movement. In-person auditions are strongly preferred, but video submissions will also be accepted.
Rehearsals will begin Monday, Nov. 17, for approximately four weeks with five performances scheduled Friday-Sunday, Dec. 19-21, at the Wake Forest Renaissance Centre, 405 S.
