Renaissance Centre inviting artists of all ages to participate in Summer Art Exhibit
The Wake Forest Renaissance Centre, 405 S. Brooks St., is inviting artists of all ages to submit works of art for its Summer 2025 exhibition entitled: “All About Anime.” This exhibition is focused on celebrating Japan and its various artforms - including anime - coming right off the heels of Raleigh’s “Animazement.” Each artist may submit up to three original artworks of any medium and style for consideration.
Designed to give visual artists an opportunity to display and sell their work in a gallery setting, the exhibit will include 120 linear feet of hanging space and a medium-sized display cabinet to showcase 3D works.
To learn more and/or apply, visit www.wakeforestrencen.org/tickets-events/2025-art-exhibits. The submission deadline is Monday, May 26.
Selected works of art will be displayed in the Renaissance Centre Arts Annex from Monday, June 9, through Monday, Aug. 18.
The Renaissance Centre (RC) will honor the artists and their works during a special reception on Friday, June 13, from 6-8 p.m. in the Renaissance Centre Arts Annex. The reception is free and open to the public, and works will be available for purchase through the artists.
