Storyteller Donna Washington coming to Facebook December 6

The Wake Forest Renaissance Centre for the Arts will present storyteller Donna Washington in a free virtual concert on Sunday, Dec. 6. Her performance will be posted at 3 p.m. on the Renaissance Centre Facebook page.

Often described as a "walking Disney movie" and "better than television," Washington is an internationally known, multiple award-winning storyteller, spoken word recording artist and author. A highly animated performer, she has been entertaining, educating, and inspiring audiences with her vocal pyrotechnics, elastic face and deep characterizations that bring folklore, literary tales and personal narratives to life for over 30 years.

This production is part of the Wake Forest Renaissance Centre’s "Arts For All" free community performance series, which is supported by United Arts Council of Raleigh and Wake County.
